From 23 to 26 September 2018, the 24th edition of the biennial International Symposium on Contamination Control was held in World Forum. The ISCC’18 steering committee looks back on a number of exciting days in The Hague. It was an honour to welcome everyone working in and around the world of contamination control.
First of all, we would like to thank you all for visiting and contributing to this symposium! In particular, our appreciation goes out to all of you who have been part of a constructive and inspiring conference programme.
Because of all the parallel speaker sessions, workshops and tutorials, you were not been able to attend all presentations. Therefore you received the available presentations and the proceeding on the USB-stick in your conference bag. As an addition to these presentation we send you the missing hand-outs on the presentations of the speaker sessions.
During the closing ceremony on Tuesday 25 September we symbolically handed over the organization of ISCC’20 to our colleagues in Turkey. We wish them all the best and knowledge to make this worldwide symposium a success!
We hope you also enjoyed our extra ISCC’18 activities like the banquet at Louwman Museum on Monday 24 September. We closed ISCC’18 on Wednesday with three interesting technical vists in ESTEC Noordwijk, ASML and Philips in Eindhoven, and HAL Allergy GMP-facility and Biotech Training Facility in Leiden. These opportunities showed the world behind contamination control in the Netherlands.
